Experience a new context

Combine your educational experience with cultural immersion. Encounter Sri Lanka’s communities, heritage and natural beauty, and reflect on what you learn along the way.

A learning placement with clear boundaries. Observation and educational workshops do not qualify participants to practise independently. The team will explain the scope of participation and the arrangements for each care setting.

The setting is part of the learning

An island to discover.
A culture to learn from.

Understanding mental health across cultures begins with being curious about everyday life. The programme makes room for cultural immersion alongside its educational components.

From the coast to the green hill country, Sri Lanka offers space to reflect as well as explore. Photographs show the destination; specific visits and travel arrangements should be confirmed with the placement team.
